Larry Berglund, CPP, MBA
Larry Berglund's style is one of engaging the audience in a relaxed style inviting discussions which are inclusive of all levels of experience on business topics.
Larry draws experience from four decades of management in the forest industry, public health care, municipal government, university operations, and consulting services. Larry has instructed accredited courses at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, the University College of the Fraser Valley, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, and supply management courses, seminars, and workshops for the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC).
He developed the Better Ways to Better Deals negotiation program. Presentations have included in-house training programs for sales organizations, as well as buyers in industry and government. The program has been well received by audiences across Canada and the USA.
His latest book is Food, Finance, and Philosophy: A Role for Supply Management in Corporate Social Responsibility. He developed the Good Planets are Hard to Buy seminar based on the book which addresses the various issues of corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
Larry also teaches on a wide variety of supply management topics including strategic management, corporate social responsibility, inventory, and operations management, along with coaching and mentoring.
Larry and his wife, Nancy, reside in Surrey, British Columbia.
